Save the Date: Stowe Lantern Parade Friday December 2nd, 5pm. Well, you know we love a good parade, and here's another one we're going to bring some MVS style and spirit to. The town will be hosting a lantern parade December 2nd, and we'd like to encourage the whole school community to come out for this event. Consider it a Solstice Stroll dress rehearsal. We're already brainstorming lantern ideas, so save the date! Classroom Happenings Infant I: We have lots of explorers up and about and walking around the room. This has added an exciting dynamic to the space. We have an increased focus on independence and self-help skills, specifically in the areas of eating, sleeping and self soothing. This also requires a differentiated approach to our care that really supports each child and their needs as they change and shift.  Infant II: All of the children have shown an interest in playing with different varieties of blocks. Stick Season Social Thank you so much for attending our Stick Season Social! It was a lot of fun and the children really enjoyed themselves. This was the first event for our new PTA and they were responsible for making it happen. We cannot thank you enough for all the work gathering amazing donations, making chili and putting it all together.  We have MVS t-shirts and canvas bags for sale, if you are interested, please let Sarah know. And, an exciting announcement: We are halfway to our fundraising goal to purchase an MVS bus!  Classroom Happenings Infant I: This week we have been working on an animal theme in our classroom. We have been reading about baby animals, and the older children are practicing making animal sounds. Each child seems to have a different animal sound they like making.
